Mediaworkshop is comprised of a team of highly experienced independent Media Strategists who plan, negotiate and buy on behalf of a select group of advertisers across various consumer markets.

Philippa Atkinson is the business manager and is actively involved in all day to day activity within the agency.

Her career began with Television New Zealand and TV3 before she migrated to the agency world to add further layers to her media expertise.  She spent many years in senior roles at Auckland's biggest agencies working with New Zealands’ biggest advertisers before forming Mediaworkshop in 1999.

Robyn has more than 20 years senior media planning experience and has worked as Auckland Media Director for Saatchi & Saatchi. She has worked on an extensive portfolio of some of NZ's largest companies. Most recently, Robyn has been actively involved with direct response business developing for simplified, prompt & effective response models.

Robyn combines creative thinking with factual analysis to develop appropriate media strategies.

Mediaworkshop employs an extensive support team on both a permanent and consulting basis to ensure the company is a one stop shop. Services encompass all media platforms including online and social, and the company works closely with Auckland's top independent creative houses.

We've been proud to work with 20th Century Fox, Madman Entertainment, Rialto Distribution & the NZ Film Commission over the last 10 years, delivering to NZ audiences some of the world's favourite movies & franchises.

From Hunt for the Wilderpeople, to Boy & the Sione's hits, Mediaworkshop has been at the heart of the success stories of NZ films at the box office. 

But we don't just specialize in film. Clients past & present include: Honda, Elizabeth Arden, Pioneer Maize (Genetic Technologies), Laithwaites Wine, Justin Lester Wellington Mayoral campaign, Electric Kiwi and Bodum housewares.

Our 'not for profit' work includes media negotiations to drive sales of quatrefoils to save St David's Memorial Church as well as the promotion of local theatre and cabaret.
