Topping off a stellar year of box office success and critical acclaim, Taika Waititi's Hunt for the Wilderpeople was awarded Best Film, Director, Screenplay, Actor (Julian Dennison), Supporting Actor (Sam Neill), Supporting Actress (Rima Te Wiata) and Visual Effects.
As a result of the successful team effort with Taika Waititi to launch ‘Boy’, Mediaworkshop was once again enlisted to ensure that ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ became another New Zealand favourite.
The Mediaworkshop strategy and PR efforts successfully supported the million-dollar fundraising that saved St David’s – the WWI Soldiers Memorial Church, which a year ago was being considered for demolition. New Zealanders raised $1 million through art sales and donations in response to the national fundraising campaign launched on Anzac Day 2015 as part of New Zealand’s commemorations of the First World War.
Mediaworkshop has worked alongside South Pacific Pictures, a New Zealand-based production company that has an international reputation for producing world-class television and films; Sione’s Wedding, My Wedding and Other Secrets and White Lies.
